  • Mudanda Rock – this rock towers above a natural dam which draws many Elephants to slake their thirst every day.

Tips and gratuities to driver guides, lodge, or hotel staff.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING (For Camping Safaris Only):

Sleeping bag (optionally, you can purchase a blanket from us instead!)
Small suitcase or rucksack as storage space on our bases is limited (excess luggage can be securely left at our offices, free of charge).
Sturdy safari clothes, jeans, T-shirts, jumper, or anorak for cool evenings and early mornings.
Torch, toiletries, bath towel and insect repellant
Film for the duration of the safari
And, of course, personal spending money!!! (for drinks, showers and swimming)

DAY 1 09:30 hrs:
Leave Nairobi the Great Rift Valley for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Picnic, lunch and game enroute. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 2 &3
Two full days of game viewing. The Black maned lion, leopard, cheetah and buffalo can be seen. All meals and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 4 08:30 hrs:
After breakfast, Leave Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru. Picnic or hot lunch enroute. Lake Nakuru National Park is often described as the “World’s Greatest Bird Spectacle”. Dinner and overnight at Nakuru camp.

DAY 5 06:30 hrs:
Pre-breakfast game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, noted for its huge concentration of Flamingoes. Beside birds, its possible to see small game like Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo in the Garden Surroundings. After breakfast, leave for Samburu Lunch, Game drive enroute.

DAY 6
Morning and afternoon Game drive in Samburu Game Reserve. Lunch and leisure breaks between 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. All meals and overnight at the camp.

DAY 7
After breakfast depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Lunch and game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge. NB: This is a very long drive and its good to start early enough (i.e. around 7.30 a.m.)

DAY 8 06:30 hrs:
Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. Proceed for a further game drive. Lunch at the camp/lodge. Late afternoon game drive returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9

Early morning proceed for your last game drive as you leave camp for Tsavo West National Park. Game viewing and lunch enroute. On arrival in Tsavo, check in camp Dinner and overnight.

DAY 10
Visit the Mzima Springs enroute to Tsavo East National Park where Hippos and crocodile can be seen swimming in the clear waters. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo East National Park, check in lodge/camp. Meals and overnight at camp.

DAY 11 08.30 hrs:
After breakfast proceed for a game drive. After lunch, leave for Nairobi. NOTE: Those wishing to go to Mombasa can be dropped at Voi town to catch public bus or “Matatu”. Those “Matatus are not advisable.
